He liked to explore a lot, that was his special ability for the exploration. European men set sail with Hudson, they left on May 1, 1607, his purpose to sail was because he had to find a route straight to the North Pole. Henry experienced Indians attacking his ship a lot. He is famous because he was the founder of Hudson Bay and famous for marking water marks around North America. He decided he wanted to sail because he wanted to find gold and the Fountain of Youth. He paid for his journey himself. He left Spain in 1493. While he was sailing he settled somewhere and met Christopher Columbus. When he got to land he did not know where he was and named it Florida. When he died from natives, people thought he died from a poison arrow, but we don’t know. In the end he died peacefully in Florida in 1521.

John Smith wanted to find new places to live. During his travel on January 7,1608 the cabins, church, and timber wall burned down. We are still learning about John Smith today because He helped create Jamestown. He also discovered new land. He left Jamestown In 1608. John Smith died in England on June 21.
