The reason why benedict is such a great breakfast isa beacues it contains all kinds of nutrition, for instance:
Muffin ------ carbonhydrate --------- glucose & maltose
Eggs ------- protein -------- amino acids
bacon ------- fat ------- fatty acid
spinage ------ celloluse ------ vitamin C

simply one serve of benedict egg contains every marco molecules that needed in human body, alog with its incredible taste, the ratio of each kind of nutrition is very balanced, so overall this was very healthy for human body to eat.

If egg benedict is so healthy, then how do we digest it and turn it into nutrition.

Because initially, every nutrition that perserve in food are compsed by marco molecules such as starch and fat and big large piece of polypeptide chain. however human have a series of mechanism that can help the body to break down the marco molecues and turn it into the useful monomers.
I would like to summarize those characteristics into two parts: physical & chemical.

imagine when you take a bite on that delicious egg benedict, feel the chrunchy baked muffin, perfectly roasted bacon and egg, the process that we chew those delicious food was actually breaking down the large pieces of food, hence when food was passing down via esophagus, the longitudinal muscle and lateral muscle will also help to further breakdown the food. matter of fact thar the physical digestion make the surface area bigger so the enzyme (chemial digestion) will have increased efficiency.

In human body, we have a complete set of digestion system that can fully digest the food we eat, chemical progress occured during the process of digestion are because the production of enzyme, these enzyme such as amylase(specified for starch), lipase(specified for fat), endopepditase(for protein), interesting thing is that our bodies have glands that can produce such enzymes and and release it into differrent place, for example salivary gland can produce amylase that will start to breakdown the carbonhydrate right away, and in the stomach, the HCL and the endopepditase will digest the protein in your stomach, when the remains passing down to the small intestine, then it the pancreas will produce some amount of pancreatic juice which contains enzymes that help to digest carbos&fat, after the food was passing through the small intestine, it no longer held its original flavour or shape, and the remains will only be the things that left to be egested.
