The alka seltzer experiment is an experiment that we put alka seltzer in a little cup and snap the lid on and wait for a chemical reaction.the chemical reaction is when the cap pops off because of the fizz from the alka seltzer creates a expolishion my variables that i will only use 1 4th of the water and my partners variable is using 3 4ths the needed water the normal amount of water is 2 4ths but she will be doing 3 4ths and i will be doing 1 4th my hypothises is that the rocket will fly shorter because that's less water for the alka seltzer to fizz in and for my partners i think it will fly farther because that's more water and the same size and amount of alka seltzer but i think it will fly farther because 3 4ths water is much more than 1 4th and i think there will be less room for alka seltzer but the water will make the alka seltzer fizz more leading to a bigger expolishion witch means for preesure wich means the more water you add the farther the rocket will go. so that is what i think will happen if my partner puts 3 4ths water and i put 1 4th water that the rocket will fly farther with more water and with less water it would fly closer to you then to the other rocket so that's what i think will happen but i'm not sure because we still have to do the exeperment ourselves for safety we need goggles and need to follow direction as well as to be sure to point the rocket away from your face.

conclusion... found out that the one with the more water seemed to pop faster but it flew shorter then the one with less water and the one with less water took longer but it flew farther and i noticed the one with the more water seemed to have a bigger chemical reaction but seemed to fly shorter for some reason.

for some reason the one with less water also seemed to take longer but go farther but sometimes it was the other way around i have no idea how it got flipped around but sometimes the one with more water went farther but the one with less water went closer i think this is due to the pressure in the cup and how you snap on the lid not to mention the way you hold the cup

the first observation is how the water started fizzing but didn't pop it didn't completely reach the top even though i'm sure it did.the second observation is the water very slowly went up and popped going 5.7 in a minute and 44 seconds.for my third trial it fizzed very quickly and popped in 32 seconds.
