This story is not the light reading to pass the time. You have to read more than one time to fully understand what the author wanted to tell the readers. I think it’s great and makes your brain work.

The story is well-structured and has a great vocabulary. I’ve learnt a lot of new words and phrases.

Furthermore, «Meditations» is an appropriate title for this text. Meditation means mental concentration on something. After reading it you need some time to focus on this text and process the information that you’ve got from it.

I like that the author used the works of great writers and tried to make an interpretation from his point of view. The main idea of the story is the topic of the day; it touches the urgent problems of the modern society. 

The choice of the words is good – the vocabulary is rich. The best part of the story is its structure. But you need to work more on the logic of the narration – sometimes you need to read some places for several times to understand how are they connected with the whole text. The story is not easy to read – I can’t name it a good bedtime story, but for people that are fond of puzzles and brainstorming books it is a good choice. 

P.s. Be careful with punctuation, sometimes the lack of it can destroy the story.

In addition to this, the meaning of this story is very deep, that´s why we should read one more time to understand exactly what author would like to tell us. As I understood, the author brings up a concern-how to find your own way. He views the life of a person from different sides which are faced with various difficulties and obstacles not only in the outside world, but also in the soul. All in all, this text is well-written and is full of advanced vocabulary. The grammar was almost nice, but, of course, there were some obvious mistakes that actually didn't help to understand the content AT ALL. But I guess this is the only advantage that I have revealed for myself. That happens when you aim for something global, extraordinary and outstanding, but in the end you are left with a bunch of half-baked ideas. If you choose to go all philosophic and heavenly wise, so make sure that your grammar is flawless. When you write such texts you don't have any right to make mistakes. Also, any essay, more importantly the ones devoted to metaphysical issues, should be well-structured. No structure - no clear idea of what was the intention of the author. Where is the introduction? Where is the conclusion? I'd say that the whole essay resembles a number of thoughts taken with no particular order from different publications. Where is the issue raised? Where is the topicality of the problem? Where is everything apart from good voc and complicated structures?
