The relationship between Darius and his dad seems really tense because Darius doesn't feel connected to his father. He got his moms trait, feeling that he doesn't feel like his dad's son (2) Hes really close with his sister but is afraid to admit it. He also has some type of relationship with his dad because they watch one episode of "Star Trek" every night. They also bond because they both don't know Farsi (3) He talks about how he doesn't really have a relationship with his grandparents and his grandfather has a brain tumor (4) He ends up getting in a fight with his dad over not wanting to get a haircut and causes lots of tension, tradition with drinking tea with his sister when he doesn't have work and awkward conversation with his grandfather (7) His dad apologizes for being rude (8) Darius didn't want to get out of bed but his dad and him had an uncomfortable conversation which actually made him laugh and was the only person who got him out of bed (16) Feels betrayed by his father after finding him and Laleh watch Star Trek. Darius finally feels apart of his family (21) Talking about how Babou makes sekanjibin and Darius never knew that he made that (24) His grandfather is just as sad as Darius is. They hugged eachother a little bit after seeing his grandfather sad. They are both sad but for different reasons. (26) Finally said I love you after their argument with his dad.
