Women's welfare is a condition in which women can fulfil their physical, mental and social needs optimally. Women's welfare is a human right that the state and society must guarantee. Women's welfare is a critical aspect of the social and economic development of a society. This article aims to explore the dimensions of women's well-being by formulating in-depth research questions, focused inclusion-exclusion criteria, and quality assessment of the literature to form a better understanding. Our thesis statement is that improving women's well-being is not only a human right but also a positive contribution to overall social development.

Women's well-being can be achieved through various efforts, including education, health, economy, and politics. This article's research question is "How do social, economic and cultural factors influence women's well-being in contemporary society?" This question guides the discussion to explore the root causes and opportunities that can improve women's welfare.

What are the efforts to achieve women's well-being?

This article's research question is "How do social, economic and cultural factors affect women's well-being in contemporary society?" This question guides the discussion to explore the root causes and opportunities that can improve women's well-being.

The research focuses only on women's welfare in Indonesia.

The research uses only primary sources, namely research results and government reports.

In detailing the problem boundaries, we focus on issues relevant to women's welfare, such as access to education, reproductive health, economic participation, and gender justice. This helps to keep the discussion focused and purposeful.

Efforts Through Education

Education is one of the essential factors in achieving women's welfare. Education can increase women's knowledge and skills to participate in social and economic life fully.

Based on research by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2022, the school enrollment rate (APS) for girls aged 7-12 years in Indonesia reached 98.9%. This figure shows that almost all girls in Indonesia have the opportunity to get an education.

However, there is still a gap between men and women in education. For example, the school enrollment rate of males aged 13-15 years is higher than that of females. In addition, the female dropout rate is also higher than that of males.

To overcome this gap, efforts are needed to improve access and quality of education for women. This can be done through various programs, such as scholarship programs, teacher quality improvement programs, and non-formal education programs.

Efforts through Health

Health is a fundamental right for everyone, including women. Good health is a prerequisite for women to play an optimal role in life.

Based on the results of BPS research in 2022, the life expectancy of women in Indonesia reached 74.7 years. This figure shows that women in Indonesia have a higher life expectancy than men.

However, there are still health problems faced by women, such as reproductive health problems, sexual violence problems, and mental health problems.

To overcome these health problems, efforts are needed to improve access and quality of health services for women. This effort can be made through various programs, such as programs to improve access to essential health services, programs to improve the quality of reproductive health services, and programs to prevent sexual violence.

Efforts Through Economy

Economic welfare is one of the critical indicators in achieving women's welfare. Women with equal access to economic opportunities will have more significant opportunities to improve their welfare.

Based on the results of BPS research in 2022, the labour force participation ratio (RPTK) of women in Indonesia reached 52.7%. This figure shows that more and more women are participating in economic activities.

However, there is still a gap between men and women regarding economic participation. For example, the unemployment rate for women is higher than that of men. In addition, women are also dominated in informal employment.

To overcome this gap, efforts are needed to increase women's access to economic opportunities. This can be done through various programs, such as women's skills improvement programs, economic empowerment programs, and women workers' protection programs.

Efforts Through Politics

Women have equal rights to participate in political life. Women's participation in politics is one of the essential indicators in achieving gender equality.

Based on the results of BPS research in 2022, the proportion of female DPR members in Indonesia reached 25.1%. This figure shows that more and more women are participating in politics.

However, there is still a gap between men and women regarding political participation. For example, the proportion of female DPR members is still much lower than that of men.

To address this gap, efforts are needed to increase women's access to political opportunities. This effort can be done through various programs, such as programs to increase women's capacity in politics, campaign programs for women's political empowerment, and programs to protect women's political rights.

Based on the literature review, it can be concluded that women's welfare can be achieved through various efforts, including education, health, economy, and politics. These efforts can be made through various programs that aim to improve access and quality of services for women.

Women's welfare is paramount to be realised. Women's welfare will positively impact individuals, families, and communities. From this literature research, we conclude that efforts to improve women's welfare require a holistic approach. Through inclusive education, equitable access to health, and economic empowerment, communities can create an enabling environment for women's well-being. The conclusion also includes a call for concrete action in achieving gender equality.

By detailing each element of the literature research, this article provides a comprehensive picture of women's well-being, encouraging awareness and action to create a more just and equal society.
