This device allows her to hear her teacher from anywhere in the school. She talks about different ways she camouflages the box on her chest and how she fells when other kids ask her about it. It is a great book to teach kindness and it is important to treat everyone with respect. She makes friends by using her hearing device as a "superpower," and will alert her peers when the teacher is returning to class.
