Secondly the reason I wanted to go above and beyond was because I was committed to that the essential stuff would be finished.

Lastly I don’t care what your routine is but if your routine at the end of the day makes you less effective in putting in effort or finishing tasks in due time then it’s on you to manage that. Although we discussed initially how we would divide the questions among all of us, the division of labor being revised last minute made it difficult for me to perform. 
Like I was supposed to do question 3 initially, and I had my research handy for that. Then Mahila and I swapped questions. Then I had to do the demographics, the business models of the competition in Pakistan and the unit economics of the competition 2 days ago on top of the part of question 2 I was already doing with Suniya. Q3 last part where we discussed the better, faster, cheaper matrix was left blank until 7 am, so Suniya had to take over that part at the end. We became a little too obsessed about what we could do to go above and beyond the project scope that we lost sight of what we were expected to put in the assignment (things that Sir had requested in the assignment brief). 
I am bad with improvising, and I panic if we are behind schedule. If from next time onwards we split the duties evenly between ourselves and then make sure to deliver what we promised we would (or if we can't do that, inform the rest of the group well within time so the rest of us can help out)  then I would be able to perform so much better.
