It would've been confusing if I didn't have a history with cell cycle and divisions. I scored quite good in my quizzes in which I really like. We discussed statements that all cells are derived from pre-existing cells, that new cells are produced for growth and they replace old or damaged cells, and that they differ in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It was also taught that the DNA contains the instructions needed for making cell parts. Then, the concept of DNA replication, which states that DNA must be copied before cell division, and that each new cell will contain an identical copy of the DNA. We then talked proceeded to chromosomes, in which there are mainly 2 types/kinds discussed, namely prokaryotic and eukaryotic chromosomes. The difference between them is that the DNA of prokaryotes (bacteria) is one, circular chromosome attached to the inside of the cell membrane, while eukaryotes have between 10 and 50 chromosomes in their body cells. But the thing is that it equips me for the next time I answer similar activities in the future. 

This quarter has surely been a breeze. It may be comprised of different lessons, but it is still educational and fun. I have learned many things in this quarter. We talked about the digestive system and how it helps us in our daily activities. As well as the organs that are included in the digestive system. Then we talked about microbiology and how the cells multiply. We learned about the difference about Meiosis and Mitosis, which is not that difficult. Then, we learned how Mendel's idea get shut down. We also discovered the hierarchy of classification of animals and the food chain and web. Of course, we also learned the human activities that affect the organisms and the food chain/web.

In the next time we learn more about Science, I would like to learn how humans think and mental illnesses. Mental illness stigma can lead to feelings of shame and self-consciousness. It can negatively impact help-seeking as well as early detection and prevention. Despite all of the advances made in understanding depression and other mental illnesses, these conditions are still stigmatized. Even though the general perception of mental illness has improved over the past decades. it is still powerful, largely due to media stereotypes and lack of education. Our society uses labels that are associated with stereotypes one of which is that mental illness leads to incompetence, violence, or unpredictability. Therefore, resulting in people with mental illness to conceal their condition in fear of being labelled as Crazy, Violent, or Stupid. That is the harsh truth about our society. People are too ignorant to believe that something is not bad even though it is backed up by science and professionals.
