I chose this picture as a representation of my understanding because it shows most of the elements that plants contribute to. We rely on the oxygen it omits, the water cycle it contributes to and the food it provides itself. The environment comes first and then society reaps the benefits as it goes through the necessary cycles to produce what we need.

It seems to me that Deserts are a biome that is in danger due to ecological change.

With Spring coming earlier and earlier each year, It makes a primarily humid ecosystem struggle against time.

The normal life span of life in the desert for plants is shortened when cold weather interrupts the process.

The nutrients that is needed in the soil is not use to cold weather as often as it is getting now, thus hindering the life span of plants.
