I remember seeing the small quiet cheerleader, who blew me away with her intelligence. Within that year she had already become less quiet, maybe just feeling a little more comfortable around me. Although I was not teaching you your sophomore year, we grew close. You’d come into my room at lunch (even if it wasn’t because of me 😉😆) and learned more about you; about your loudness and confidence. I asked you to be apart of the St. Francis team and I know you were scared but you had/have so much potential! Then I had the great opportunity to see you as a leader. There was some drama and cattiness and I hope that has all been left in the dust. It was a good example of how life and work can be. I enjoyed watching you grow into the young lady that you have and I am so excited for the next chapter in your life. You will make so many friends and have wonderful and not so wonderful experiences. Just remember that nothing will keep you down and sometimes obstacles are doorways to something you did not realize that you needed or wanted.
