That's something that is quite obvious. I feel connected because there's many times when I feel different from the crowd. I've always felt different, maybe because of the way I was raised, my beliefs, my religion. It's different from my friends. I felt like an alien that for sure didn't belong to this world. But being different doesn't have to be bad at all, meaning that you're not being someone else. The same pattern. I believe that it's individualism and self- reliance. 
When I read this quote I felt like I wasn't impressed for some reason, but understood. Being obedient means listening to what the person is commanding you to do and doing it. There isn't much liberty about it, no choice. It's like being a slave, a servant, a puppet. Being disobedient is deciding for yourself whether you choose to do it or not. My life is simple too, but why do I want it to be like some sort of novela? They have so much chaos. My life is simple and it makes it boring, but I realize that if my life is simple, that means that when I go home I wouldn't have to worry about what chaos I would run into. All I have to worry about is whether I have homework or not.
