The article, "Is a Happy Life Different from a Meaningful One?" by Jill Suttie and Jason Marsh talks about the differences in happiness and meaningfulness but they ultimately overlap and they go hand-in-hand. The article mentions two types of happiness; "eudaimonic happiness" which results from meaningful pursuits and "hedonic happiness" which is happiness from satisfaction and pleasure. Happiness without meaning won't lead to a good life but if you work towards your goals, you will end up fulfilling meaning in life.

We think its important to look at happy and meaning as a whole and we discussed how there can't really be a set definition of happiness since it varies between people. A lot of us tend to want to satisfy ourselves with what we think we want, and we go for that prospect. Once we believe we completed that goal we think we are finished and we continue to live, and that is what creates that unfulfillment and undesirable pleasures. The little things we want to make us happy, can't actually make us happy. We keep forgetting there is no value in money and fame because if it disappears, no one will value it or respect it but if you made real importance and change, that is something to cherish and live for.
Having a purpose in life can cause stress because you're held accountable.
