As a result, the viewer feels the emotions of inclusiveness and encouragement for the practice of safe sex.<br><br>- Moreover, the blue color is Durex's main brand color which gives a feeling of calm/peace, possibly putting the viewer at ease.<br><br>- The rulers instead of male genatalia is a way to bring the emotion of cheekiness, since the viewer understands what Durex is trying to say without them actually needing to say it</div>]]></description>

The rhetorical question asked: "was that text worth it?" creates a sense of guilt and shock, as people realize this girl died due to texting and driving; something many viewers might already be doing. This ad is a metaphor, comparing the destruction of the Earth to an everyday household object that slowly leaks water, evoking our massive waste of water now. Viewers see the massive amount of water seeping out compared to the size of the Earth and are reminded not only of the immense magnitude of the water being wasted but the shape. The image looks like an hourglass, showing our time running out. The caption compounds this. "Time is running out" is a very ominous message foreshadowing doom and destruction. The water that is leaking seemingly also has a green tint. Green is the color of the Earth and represents its wellbeing. So having the green drain out not only shows that we are losing water but the essence of the Earth itself.
