In doing this I have indulged in an investigation to understand the form of the human body and connecting it with shapes and concepts of nature. I have taken my first jab at bodywork focusing on my face being very familiarized with me and see how to move it and get those lines and shapes I love in my nature pictures. The petals and stems can be similar in a sense to our limbs the way it connects and brings color in the world intrigues me. I have also experimented with taking animal and human aspects and combining them using layers and different images collaging them together in my pieces. In using photoshop I can reshape my pictures which has led to a further investigation using my artwork to form my own outlook on life and its meaning. I have decided to further in-depth myself in using my investigation in the outlook of humans and nature to blend objects of meaning with them. Practicing my photoshop skills and combining these but still using my artistic individualism but making the image whole with blending and other collage pieces. I like the cause these pieces bring me but also the memories that I make or made from my photography. To be able to take a look back at once was that exact moment and share it with the world and make peace with it. This idea of mine is what I will try to be adding into my investigation as an artist this season.
