Firstly, the message of racism and inequality throughout the united states. The two songs that best encompass this are “Everybody” and “Black Spiderman”. In both songs Logic explains how as a child he was put down by white’s for being half black and was put down by blacks for being half white. He explains that despite the progress the United States as a whole has made towards not only Civil Rights, but equality for everyone. His slogan is to love everybody no matter the race, religion, creed, or sexual orientation and this is the reason why I believe his music is so moving. In the song “Niki” his creativity is truly shown. Overall the song is pretty slow and dark, as he keeps referring to “Niki” as if she is a lover of his that he constantly struggles with. He says “I tried some others but man they just not as good as you, Going crazy cause I only feel this good with you”, almost sounding like his is talking about this girl like she is an addiction of his.
