         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the Yayoi Period, the rice culture was brang over to Japan in 100 BC. this also brang the introduction of agriculture. This made social classes evolve which made the Japanese people smarter and more aware. It was also the time when Queen Himiko (pimiku) who was the leader of Japan at the time. This period was also the introduction of iron and modern ideas like pottery.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the 10th century, two military parties with aristocratic pasts had gained much power. The Minamoto (Genji) and Taira (Heike) were the two parties. The Tairia had replaced many Fujiwara nobles whilst the Minamoto gained military experience by bringing some Northern Honshu that were under Japanese control. They had war from 1050 to 1087.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

These unfair “treaties” gave the Western powers a single sided economic advantage against japan.          <description><![CDATA[<div>After the death of Yoritomo in 1199 a dispute of supremacy had started between Kamakura Bakufu and the Jokyu disturbance in 1221. After the defeat of the imperial army in Kyoto, Kamakura had gained full control of Japan. The new leader gave land back to the citizens wich in turn gave loyalty amongst all the powerful&nbsp; people.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
