- Communication with the students and parents is vital. Ensure that the communication is constant, done through the same platform, and is available in multiple forms (type an announcement and do a voice recording)
- Teachers and staff members should be communicating and collaborating more than usual. 
- Learning should be split between synchronous and asynchronous learning. Content should be delivered asynchronously, and engaging learning activities should be done synchronously. 
- Ensure that the content you are teaching is vital for future success. Do not focus or spend a lot of time on minor concepts. 
- Traditional assessment is not optimal for online learning; test, quizzes and worksheets are too easy to cheat on. Design projects and assessments that involve student creation.
