This excerpt from "Walden" means that you should follow your dreams and live your life how you want to live it, not how other people want you to live. My dream is to go to a good 4 year college. After that, I would like to get a job that I enjoy and that pays well, so I can help my family because they do everything for me. I can be more active in school and work to get my grades to get noticed by good schools and possibly get an academic or athletic scholarship. It is also my dream to play soccer in college and professionally I also have to get a job right now, so that I can help my family pay for college.

In the excerpt of "Self- Reliance" by Henry David Thoreau, he discusses his opinions on how he feels about society. He feels as though people are not being themselves. He feels that people are not living their lives that they should be living, in fact he thinks that people are living lives that people want them to live. People are letting other people critique what they do and how they live. And due to this criticism, they feel they need to change because of what the other people think of them.

It would be very hard for me to leave everything behind and start a new life somewhere else. I think i would bring pictures of my family, my phone, headphones, pretzel goldfish, and cheddar jack cheese its because they are amazing. I do not know how i would say goodbye to my family. It would probably be the hardest to say goodbye to my parents. I would say goodbye to my entire family face-to-face, but then i would write them individual letters thanking them for everything they have done for me. The two most important things in my life are my family and my friends.

I have made many choices in the fifteen years I've been on this earth, some great choices and others not so great. One of the greatest decisions I have ever made was to start playing soccer again when I started my freshman year. If I had not played soccer in freshman year than I wouldn't have some of the great friendships I have made over the course of these two years. I wouldn't change a thing about my decision, and looking back on it, I am glad a decided to challenge myself and start playing again.

The movie, The Incredibles, was very popular Pixar movie made in 2004. Non-Conformity was the Transcendental Idea presented in the movie. This is idea is presented because the family are ex-superheroes trying to be normal people. But, the father of the family takes a secret job, which leads to the whole family using their powers to stop a bad guy. So , they realized that being a regular family is not something they really want to do.
