She was only 44 years old when she died and the Salesians were then 200 in 27 houses in Italy, France, Argentina and Uruguay.
The first successor of Mother Mazzarello, to direct the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, was Mother Catherine Daghero (1881 - 1924).</pre><div><br></div>]]></description>
