         <description><![CDATA[<div>Back in the progressive era women were treated very poorly. They weren't paid very much if they were paid at all for their work. They also didn't have some of the basic human rights that they should have because they are citizens. But after too many years had gone by and they still didn't have rights, during the progressive era they are done and are taking their right  little by little; starting with the right to vote.</div>]]></description>

They were appalled that they were not included in the 15th amendment along with african american men and the white men that already had this right.</div>]]></description>

Women were treated unfairly for no reason; they were just trying to have voting rights so they could vote who they thought belonged in office and not have the biased votes of men.</div>]]></description>
