The people hope this is true, because if not, a lot of people will starve to death.  In my opinion, the government should sign documents or talk with bordering/nearby countries to allow for the Bangladeshi people to evacuate the country and spread into the other countries. The rest of the people could live farther inland, and the flooded areas of Bangladesh would then be uninhabited.
