https://padlet.com/ec37146n/4hevxd4gzn3e52yc Here is a throwback photo of myself. en-us 2023-09-16 00:45:55 UTC 2023-09-16 01:17:08 UTC hello@padlet.com https://padlet.net/icons/png/1f604.png ec37146n https://padlet.com/ec37146n/4hevxd4gzn3e52yc/wish/2706500975 This was a selfie of me when I just started 9th grade and this photo means a lot to me for a number of reasons.  This was always my favorite picture of when I dyed my hair because at 14 years old I had red, blue, and finally blonde hair.  Everyone at school and many of my favorite celebrities at the time were dying their hair, and I wanted to join the trend.  This picture was taken upstate New York in Bear Mountain on a hike with my family, and my aunt was pregnant with my cousin at the time.  I remember this was in October, so I had just started high school, and was still nervous about it, however whenever I got to walk in nature or just take pictures of nature it was very calming for me at that age.  I was very into aesthetics, photography, and how I looked to others.  There was this popular YouTuber at the time named Connor Franta who wrote a book called "A Work In Progress" and after I read it, it caused me to fall in love with taking pictures in and of nature.  While I could not control the unknowing of what high school was going to be like, I felt very much control of my look and the pictures I would take of either myself or nature.  I was definitely a social media obsessed teen that wanted the most likes and followers, however I grew out of that as I got older.  I loved taking pictures to document my life, and now that it has been many years later, I love to look back at all of the pictures I took to relive all of the memories.  As a teen, and as an adult I always valued living in the moment and taking in all of my surroundings.
