My eyes, my ears, my,fur

What do you see

Do you see a piercing flame, showing courage

Or the cool clouds over the Moon, showing calm

Do you focus on my sharp claws and pointed teeth?

Or my soft eyes and gentle soul

My eyes, my soul,my teeth, my claws, my fur...

Which do you see first? It should be my eyes, my soul

Look at me and be honest, what do you see

Do you see a sheep stealer and rabbit-chaser Or a pack creature that fights for dominance

Why do you humans do what you do and think what you think

Why have our brothers and sisters died to your horrible weapons and traps until we’re on the brink of extinction

Why do you see us as violent ‘needs to be killed creatures…’

When you should see a wolf and her small pups...why can’t you see what you’re missing
