         <description><![CDATA[<div>Verbal: words to express something that is opposite to the truth or someone says what they mean or feel.<br><br>Situational: when something or someone expecting one thing to happen and the opposite happens.&nbsp;<br><br>Dramatic: the audience knows what is going on/happening but the character(s) don't.<br><br>Examples:<br>Situational: A fire station burns down.&nbsp;<br><br>This is considered situational irony because the fire station puts out fires and they themselves are on fire.<br><br>Verbal: Soft as a brick.<br><br>This is considered verbal irony because you usually say or know that brick is hard, but whoever is saying it has a different meaning or feeling.<br><br>Dramatic:&nbsp;<br>A character walks into a house where the killer is and they do not know, but the audience knows.<br><br>This is considered dramatic because we know what the characters don't and it builds a suspense along with it.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
