The time we spent at Rod's place was great! My friends and I felt really comfortable not only because of the ample apartment but also because of friendly neighbors and things to do around the place! We had everything we needed really nearby like gas station, convenience store and stuff. By the way, Rod was welcoming and seemed concerned about our experience, which was nice and made our trip for Scotland even better. I'd like to go back next year.

When I arrived at the place, Rod was waiting to show me the entire house. It was really beautiful and comfortable. In the bedroom I stayed in, I lay in bed and it felt like I was on the clouds. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom in my house, the shower was very nice. His neighbors were very kind and the place was quiet and safe. Rod showed me some places nearby and I was pretty impressed. There is a nice restaurant that is very cheap and the food is amazing. I loved Rod’s place and I intend to go back more often.

In my diet, the real villain is sweets, there are times when all we need is that sweet, but I fight the urge and prefer to eat fruits, because is healthier.

WHY MISLEADING PEOPLE ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE IS DANGEROUS

Mislead someone, is already a really bad thing. And it get's WORSE ,when you decide to mislead someone about a topic, that can change (for worse), THE INTIRE WORLD. It's not a singular person, it's all the life forms in this planet. Animals, plants, people, everything.

Basically, when you mislead someone about climate change, you're basically saying that global warming, polution, the melting of glaciers, species being exctinted, is completly normal, or that all those events are a lie...or you're being ignorant about these facts, and you don't want to change your life style to help, so you mislead others to do the same.

So, in a nutshell, misleading people about climate change can bring a lot of negative consequences to the planet. If someone believes in this kind of lie, they'll keep doing harmful actions to the enviroment, like pollute, and many other harmfull actions. So please, don't mislead, or be misleaded. Check the news, the searches, or any trustful infromation font.

In the last few years, misinformation about climate change has become a bigger problem to the public health and safety. Experts warn that misleading information can stop necessary actions to combat global warming. Essentially, when people are misinformed about the reality of climate change, they are less likely to support presidents who want to reduce the emissions of gas and protect vulnerable ecosystems.

Basically, the misinformation can make people's efforts to soften the climate impacts take more time, which ends up leading to more severe weather events such as, rising sea levels, and extensive damage to biodiversity. In short, the spread of inaccurate climate information not only jinx the environmental sustainability but also causes a direct risk to the entire population and their well-being.

The quiet town of Rivertown was jolted awake last night by a 3.3 magnitude earthquake, a force unexpected for this peaceful community. Although the quake was not of the highest magnitude, it left a deep impact—cracking roads, damaging buildings, and shaking homes to their core. The event left the town not only physically rattled but also emotionally shaken.

Emergency crews were quick to respond, but the overwhelming number of distress calls stretched their resources thin. What had been a serene place was now a scene of confusion and worry. Families gathered in makeshift shelters, holding each other close, uncertain of what the future would hold.

As daylight revealed the aftermath, the true scope of the disaster became painfully clear. The once smooth main street was marred by deep cracks, windows stood shattered, and several homes lay in ruins. Thankfully, no lives were lost, but the emotional scars and financial strain on the residents were undeniable.

Rivertown has always prided itself on its spirit of resilience. Now, that spirit faces its toughest test yet. The journey to rebuild will be long and difficult, but the community's determination to restore what was lost remains unshaken. Together, they will pick up the pieces, one by one, and find strength in each other to rebuild their beloved town.

The host, Rod, was super helpful and stayed in touch with us the whole time, even though he wasn't around. The spot was just right—peaceful but not too far from fun spots, stores, and places to grab a bite. It made getting around the place a breeze. The nice little things like a friendly hello and paying attention to the small stuff really made it extra special. Give it a thumbs up if you're planning a trip to Scotland!

The place was very comfortable and harm, it had that feeling of home. The comfort of the place was reflected on the furniture, fluffy couches with a lot of pillows, the bed had the right amount of sheets, size and pillows too. Even with all the goods things in the apartment, after just a few minutes out of it you can get into restaurants and the shopping with a cinema. Overall a good and comfortable place, a lot of different restaurants by the area and a fluffy bed to rest, would recommend to any friend of mine.

Climate change as a result of human behavior have been studied for more than three decades. The great majority of science articles shows that human absolutely affects the enviroment in a bad manner. Even though for science is almost certainly that the climate is changing due to men actions, for some people that is nothing but a false alarming news. This missunderstanding of reality can lead to a dangerous belief, such as not realizing the climate is getting worst each year and, because of that, not taking actions to improve, or at least decrease, that damage that is being caused to the world. Unfortunately, due to the denying of reality spread by some people, it´s harder to mobilize public to take action and, consequently, make the planet healthier.

Television today: relevant entertainment or destined to disappear?

Remember when you were a child? When You wanted to watch cartoons, or any kiddie show, but your parents wanted to watch an horror movie or any "adult" thing on the TV? In this situation, you had two options: or you watched TV with your parents, or you didn't watched anything and went to play with your toys or do any kid thing (best option). Although, this "union" that we had with our family, to sit down on the couch and watch something on TV, like show, a movie, or anything, ended with the reach of the cellphones. This is both good and bad because we can watch anything that we want in (almost) everywhere and everytime, but this union that we had with our family to watch something, ended, and now is everyone by themselves.

Some people say that "the streaming services are the future". And they are...correct to be honest. Like, streaming services can be way better than regular TV! Example: losed an episode of your favorite novel? You can watch it on netflix. An Avengers movie will be shown, but you don't like of that one? Tou go to Disney + and watch one that you like. Almost everyone is abandoning regular TV broadcasts, and they're embracing the sreaming services, and that affects very negatively the TV channels, because they're losing audience.

The future of regular TV is unknown, maybe it ends, maybe it improves and become better than the sreaming services, we don't. Only GOD knows the future.

That's it thank you for reading.

I have been investigating a mystery for three weeks about the disappearance of Nick James, a famous bard who made money by robbing people while playing his instrument and making them fall asleep. He was not only good with words but also a fantastic singer, He had a knack for persuading people. The evidence suggest that he was kidnapped while trying to rob some people who were wearing earplugs. He must have tried to escape but i don`t know, I find it hard to believe, Nick would be crazy trying to escape. Something tells me that he was taken to a prison far from the city to explain how he robbed people with his music. That could have happened but at the same time, it's far-fetched, what i mean is that he mustn't have noticed the people with earplugs, so there might be something more to this story, I could maybe go to the location of Nick James' last appearance, i can hardly wait to solve this mystery.

Television is a device shaped like a box with a screen that receives images and sound, invented in England by the year of 1926. Since then, almost a hundred years later, it has become a famous object that is present in 95 percent of brazilian houses, according to IBGE(Brazilian institute of Geography and Statistc). The same research, made in 2023, shows that in almost 44 percent of those houses people have streaming services connect to their television devices, an outsanding increase if compared to prior years. Even though streaming services are now a national sucess, hugely increasing every year, it did not take its couterpart place in the spotlight. The Normal broadcast is used by 95,3% of brazilian television owners.

The normal broadcast, surely afraid and affect by streaming services, is trying to mantain its dominance. To do so, is developing strategies, such as new tv shows, in the attempt of catching younger viewers. The present indicates that brazilians might, in a not too long future, let the normal broadcast aside.

Television has been going through a significant transformation over the last few years, being influenced by the rise of streaming services. Platforms like Netflix and Disney+ have changed how viewers consume their contents, since those offer programs to watch whenever people want, without interruptions, thing that the traditional TV struggles to compete with. But even with these challenges, traditional broadcasting isn't entirely destined to disappear. Live events, such as sports and award shows, continue to attract a bunch of people, offering experiences that streaming can't replicate. There's also the news broadcasts, which remains important in an age of fast information dissemination. While the dominance of streaming services is pretty present nowdays, the traditional TV still holds an important place in our media and life, adapting to coexist with the new wave of entertainment. It's almost right to say that the future will likely be a blend of both, but saying that the TV will disappear is highly unlikely, at least for the next few years.

In recent years, television broadcasting has faced tough competition from streaming services. Platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ have changed how we consume content, offering the freedom to watch what we want, when we want. Instead of waiting for a show to air, people can now binge-watch entire seasons or pick a movie with just a few clicks. This shift has definitely pulled attention away from traditional TV.

However, live television still holds a special place, especially for events like sports, news, and live shows. These programs bring people together in real-time, creating a shared experience that streaming can't quite match.

Looking ahead, TV broadcasting may not disappear entirely, but it will need to evolve. By focusing on live and local content, traditional TV could continue to coexist with streaming services, offering something unique that keeps it relevant in the future.

Philip's Kidnapping

A few days ago I saw a report on television about the kidnapping of a kid called Philip. The evidence the police had was that there was a similar case some years ago and the criminal had an apprentice. Based on this evidence, the police assumed that what probably happened was that the apprentice had been preparing to continue the crimes and had abducted Philip, because his parents were on vacation and had left Philip alone in the house, even though there were no broken items in the entryways. Flabbergasted about it, I began to research more about the case. After some research, I found out that he was actually my neighbor! Then I decided to look deeper in the circumstances and started asking my other neighbors about him and his family, then I found some kids playing outside, when I asked one of them about Philip he said:

-"Because of what happened to Philip, my momma said to me to watch out when I playing outside, but Philip has always been a slow runner because of his Reflex synoscop or something like that. So I will just run if I see some thief!"

As I was leaving, I heard one of the kids say that he almost couldn't get out of Philip's basement because the door was too heavy for Philip, so the kid had to help him. Researching more I found out that Philip suffered from reflex syncope, a condition of the heart that causes the person to faint randomly. My theory about the case is that Philip hasn't been kidnaped, because of the lack of broken things in the entrances, but that Philip simply fainted in the basement and couldn't get out because the door has locked him in and he is too weak to lift it.

People said that if you went there at the school break time you would find the strange man making repetitive movements without saying a thing. One time me and my friends went there and saw the strange man, we tried talking to him many times saying "Hello" and "there is anyone there?" but with no response. When he suddently turned in our direction, staring at us without saying nothing. We screamed an run away from there, after this "incident" we never saw the man again. Now that I'm older, I think the person just didn't wanted to talk to us, but was fun thinking that we had a ghost at our school.

Barra Mansa, nestled in the region of the southern Rio de Janeiro state, is a good city with a rich history and strong community ties. Yet, like many urban areas in Brazil, Barra Mansa is grappling with several challenges, one of the biggers being urban mobility. As the population grows, and with it, the number of vehicles on the road, the city’s infrastructure struggles to keep up. Congestion, lack of public transportation options, and unsafe roads are daily concerns for its residents. Improving Barra Mansa’s bus system is essential. Investing in modern, eco-friendly buses, optimizing routes, and using real-time tracking apps would make public transport more appealing. Expanding bus coverage to underserved neighborhoods can further reduce reliance on cars, easing traffic congestion.

The school cafeteria recently introduced a new, healthier menu, replacing the usual fare of fries, pizza, and burgers with more fresh and nutritious options. This change has sparked mixed reactions among students.

Some are thrilled about the shift. One student mentioned, “Finally, I could never eat the cafeteria food because they always had the same disgusting options. I had to bring fruit and salad from home, but now I can eat the school food.” Others appreciate the health benefits, even if they miss their old favorites. “My parents are a lot happier about the new menu than I am,” another student admitted. “But it’s not that bad. It’s good to eat healthy stuff, and this is helping me lose a couple of pounds.”

However, not everyone is happy with the change. One student complained, “I hate this new food. I asked for fries the other day, and they told me they can only serve fries once a week now. What am I supposed to eat?”

Despite the mixed reviews, I personally think it's great that the cafeteria is serving more fresh food. I was getting tired of eating fries, pizzas, and burgers every day. It's a refreshing change, and healthier options benefit us in the long run.

Once a primary source of entertainment, television is now facing increasing competition from a lot of streaming services like Netflix, Disney+ and Max. These kind of platforms has really changed the way we consume content by providing on-demand access to a wide variety of shows, movies and documentaries. The flexibility of watching content anytime, anywhere, sometimes without ads, makes the streaming services interesting and attractive, especially to younger viewers.

As a result, television viewership is declining. To many, scheduled programming and reliance on advertising seem outdated, especially when compared to the personalized and ad-free experience of streaming. However, live televised events like sports, news and award shows still attract large audiences, indicating that television has not yet become irrelevant.

The future of traditional TV can lie in adapting to digital trends, with hybrid models that combine streaming with live broadcasting.

I’m going to write about VJ Day, cause it’s the best among the options, the VJ Day known as Japan’s victory day, when Japan surrendered, which led to the end of world war 2. From my choice, we can reflect on the present day, the image inspires me to talk about some social positions. Taking it from the image, we can see that surrendering to something will not always be bad and that there are battles that will be won just by giving up. For example, a “toxic relationship” doesn’t do you any good, but you insist and persist in it, maybe for fear of being alone or out of back of self love. There are battles that will be won, just by giving up and giving up what hurts you is not bad, thinking about it, victory will come from a surrender just like VJ Day.

I’m a nutshell there are people who often don’t have a home and a work elsewhere. There should be places to welcome there people as guests, where they would have support, all in all these migrants would not go through so many challenges, like living on the street, running out of food, basically, many children are also left without access to education.

Given climate change, resource scarcity, and environmental destruction, sustainability issues are crucial to the actual generation. To save the planet, we must have both personal responsibility and active citizenship. Science education plays a key role. Understanding the science behind environmental issues, such as the effects of fossil fuel use and deforestation, empowers us to make decisions.

Citizenship is important too. As active citizens, we need to trust our governments and corporations to prioritize sustainability. We can create change by electing environmentally conscious politicians, getting involved in community projects and holding institutions accountable for environmentally friendly actions.

By combining science education, responsible citizenship and sustainable lifestyle choices, my generation can be at the front of reversing environmental destruction. If we act now, we can protect the planet for future generations.

I spent the past two weeks investigating what I suspected to be a cursed house. I moved to a new neighborhood that seemed lovely and calm at first, but at night, everything changed! I swear I heard weird noises coming from the house in front of mine, and I didn’t understand what it could be… or maybe I just didn’t want to know. I did some search by asking other neighbors and discovered that the house had been abandoned by a family who were not only unfriendly but also creepy: no one knew anything about them, including how they left, which made me want to know even less. But after a week, I gave up and had to see what was happening in the middle of the night. Here’s what I found when I looked through the window with my flashlight: bats and mice. That’s MY creepy story because I really am afraid of those animals.

Sustainability is an issue that demands urgent action from the world, and soon It will be my genaration who will have to take the lead. To be able to complete this challenge, there are three elements we must be prioritized. They are science literacy, active citizenship, and the studies.

First, science literacy is crucial. A good understanding of environmental science allows people to understand the complexities of climate change and try to think about a solution. This knowledge empowers my generation to make informed decisions and advocate for sustainable practices in our communities.

Second, active citizenship plays an important role. Engaging in local initiatives, supporting policies that promote sustainability, and participating in protest about it can drive significant change. By collectively holding governments and corporations accountable, creating a more sustainable future.

Lastly, the studies are vital in identifying innovative solutions. Encouraging academic pursuits in environmental fields can lead to breakthroughs in renewable energy, conservation strategies, and sustainable agriculture.

In the end, my generation don't hold the power of saving the planet, but holds the power of start a new era, paving the way for the next generations, who are going to take after us.

Hello, old friend

It´s been a while since I saw or heard of you. I hope you are doing all right.

Getting in to matter, i will not say what you should or must do. That is something that only YOU can decide. What I can do is to show what you could look up to before making a decision.

First of all, you can not control other´s behavior. What is in your control is the attempt to show other perspective on the matter. And that was what you did, so your responsability ended right there when you tried to aid your (potencial) boyfriend. It is his decision to seek for help or not. And especially for you, do not try, as said, to change somebody. You will not succeed and will only get frustred. You did your part, you tried to help. It is his part to decide whether he will help himself or not.

What you need to also consider is that no one is perfect. He has his flaws as you have yours. You should ask yourself if your concern about his imperfection is bigger than your feelings about him.

For last, but no least, a relationship is about respect, care and understand other´s feelings. Are you ready for that? Is he ready for that? Do you care for him? Does he care for you?

I hope that I could aid you with those words. If you need any other help, send me another message. I will be glad to help.

Your dear friend, Vitor.

Hey there,

It’s great to hear from you, I was starting to wonder how you were doing! I’m sorry to learn about your situation. It sounds really tough, and I appreciate the compliments and you reaching out for advice.

I'm no professional, but as I see it’s important to prioritize your own well-being over all of this. While you care about him, it’s not your responsibility to fix his problems, you know? If he’s not open to professional help, it might be a sign he’s not ready to confront his issues and doesn't want help.

Try having an honest conversation with him when you feel ready. Tell him your feelings and concerns without judgment, focusing on how his hoarding will affects both of you if you decide to follow with a relationship. Maybe this will help him understand the seriousness of the situation?

If you feel comfortable, you could suggest small steps he could take, like talking to a therapist or starting with one area of his home. But in the end of the day you have to set boundaries for your own mental health. You're an awesome person who deserve to be in a relationship that feels safe. Whatever you decide, I’m here for you! Let’s catch up soon. Maybe we could meet in a coffee shop?

Take care, dear friend.

My beloved friend, it's good to hear about you again, but it's not so good to hear the situation that you're in...

Well, i'm not a professional when it comes to advices, but you really seems to be needing of one so... here it is.

In the way that i see it, i think you should try understand him, instead of just seeing this problem as a math equation to be solved! Have empathy! Because hoarding is a very complicated thing, the person who has it, needs of professional assistence. Maybe, it was the way that you acted, who made him get a little away from you. Hoarders, are very attached to their things. So, be patient, and try to convince him get rid of his things. But be gentle when trying to convince him, because, if you think that screaming and being anger at him will solve something, you're wrong! It will get things worse.

I know that is hard for you, but he's a human. Like me and you. So he's not perfect! the only perfect human was, is, and will be perfect, is JESUS CHRIST. The Son of GOD, the true man, an true GOD. The alpha and omega. Except for HIM, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23 . So everyone has flaws, so we have to be patients, and try help each other to be a better person! Not blame anyone by it Cons!

So, that's it. Try to understand him, help him, and be patient with him. And remember, JESUS LOVES you!

Hello lovable people! This review is going to be about the soundtrack, of a movie that many people say to be bad, but... i particularly like of this movie! YES, i'm talking about Spider-Man 3 from the Sam Raimi trilogy (the most special for me). So let's get started!

Well, before saying anything, this movie has a very soft spot in my heart. Because i used to watch it alot when i was a little kid, so if sometimes it looks that i'm in favor of the movie, it's beacuse of that... but i'll try to be fair and ignore this fact by the way.

Spider-Man 3, in my point of view, has a such unique soundtrack, i get goose bumps when i listen to some of the songs.

Want exemples? The black suited Spider-Man theme, and Drive that Funky Soul are VERY good exemples of it! They have such a catchy melody, the first one, dramatical and a bit serious, represents the evil of symbiont, and the second one, funky and funny, the complete oposite of the first one, represents the worldly vibe of "Bully Maguire".

But the problem of it, is that the songs in some points are unnecessarily dramatical and epic. It just doesn't fit so good in some parts! It could be replaced by lighter songs.

But, in general Spider-Man 3 soundtrack really gets me in a thrill! but some of the songs makes me sick to my stomach

Epic: The Musical, the vengeance saga

Epic: The Musical's latest album, called the vengeance saga, made by Jorge Rivera-Herrans, is set in a world inspired by Greek epic, the odyssey. The album is part of a big saga with eight differet albums (+1 that will be out in december 25th) that tell us the adventures of Odysseus and his twenty years journey, ten spended in war, and ten going back to his home, Ithaca.

What stands out most is the complexity and depth of the character-driven songs. Tracks like "Heroes Fall" and "Destiny's Path" offer soaring vocals and dynamic orchestration, for example, each character has an instrument that represent them in their songs.

However, while the album is awesome, one of the songs makes one of the characters, Calypso, be seem as a victim even after she keeps Odysseus against his will in an island for seven years, not allowing him to go back to his home, which makes me really uncomfortable, but I get why the song is like that. Calypso is a manipulative character, so of course she would make herself a victim in her song and try to get sympath of the listeners. with similar melodic structures.

In conclusion, Epic: The Musical is an awesome album that explores perfectly the characters and plays with the melody.

Ashe and Blood:The Soundtrack that Marks Arcane

Arcane's soundtrack is a spectacle in itself, and Ashe and Blood stands out as one of the most impactful tracks in the series. The music combines dark and orchestral tones with a powerful energy that perfectly conveys the intense and emotional atmosphere of the story.

What I liked most about Ashe and Blood was how it manages to evoke different emotions throughout its execution. The melody starts out restrained, almost melancholic, but soon evolves into something grand and intense. It's a song that seems to tell its own story, even without words, reflecting the central themes of Arcane: struggle, sacrifices and redemption.

Despite this, the track may not please those looking for something lighter or easier to listen to outside the context of the series. It is striking, but carries an intensity that doesn't match any moment.

Overall, Ashe and Blood is a masterpiece within the Arcane soundtrack. It's the kind of song that transports you back to the universe of the series and makes you relive all the emotions.

Atrás/Além - O Terno

The production is the fourth album of the band, released in 2019, counting with twelve tracks, an impeccable and kind of magic instrumental and simple but meaningful lyrics, which match and talk with each other in a fluid conversation.

The instrumental is something that really calls attention in this album, being different from any other work of the band, but having that touch that makes the Terno what it is, having its identity. I can confirm it when, once, I was listening to a song a friend showed me and I found the sound of the piano familiar, then I discovered that who was playing it was Tim Bernardes, the vocalist composer and guitar player of Terno. It just collaborates to show how their style is recognizable and, in my opinion, unique, renewing and reinventing itself in every project, but never losing its singularity.

Then, the lyrics, they are the only thing that I believe that keeps the same idea: CHANGE. Change, overcoming, maturation, these are some words that I relate to the songs. The action of change during the process of maturation, to overcome the challenges and the dramas of the youth, and also bringing up the search for self-knowledge.

However, it also has songs that diverge from this concept, like the penultimate track: Passado/Futuro, which explores the terms past and future, telling, in a nutshell, a story about social, political and pessoal divisions, with the use of antithesis and metaphores. In the same song, the author makes a reference to the the Maurícios Pereira 's song "Mergulhar Na Surpresa" in the sixth strophe. The composer also honored Biel Basile, the drummer, in the eighth track. Something special in this song is the chorus, counting with the presence of one of my favorite artists: Ana Frango Elétrico, It also has Tulipa Ruiz (which I also really like), Luiza Lian, Maria Beraldo and Maria Cau Levy.

Well, as it is clear, I loved this album. It has followed me since the end of 2021 and the late beginning of 2022 and still continues until today. It has a really special meaning for me and I always listen to it and to the band. It is difficult to choose a favorite song because I have one for each moment of my life. The process of listening to this album was extensive, I took a long time to discover and fully consume every song and I can say there are some songs that I did not listen to as much as I wanted. Anyway, that is one of my favorite albums that I consider the soundtrack of my life and I hope I will still listen to it in the future.

How can my generation still save the planet?

The world has been suffering from the consequences of the bad use of its resources to the point that the issues of sustainability are getting worse, like the increase of the climate changes, the loss of biodiversity and the growth of pollution. These are just environmental examples, but it is also possible to list social-economical problems, like poverty, hunger or even health problems associated with it. In this scenario, the doubt is how can the current generation still save the planet? The first thing is to understand that what was lost can not be recovered, but maintain what we still have. And some ways of doing it are with science literacy and citizenship.

First, science literacy is one way to collaborate to sustainability. Science literacy is the act of being actively involved in scientific topics, the capacity to understand and interpret data and matters to participate in decision-making. It can make the population more participatory in the progress of the society, as it requires critical sense and decision making based on facts, research and knowledge. When people are teached how to be critical scientifically, they understand how the world works and it influences their habits and how it affects the planet.

Furthermore, there is also the concept of citizenship as a guide to a better sustainability. You can look at citizenship in two different ways: being a citizen or exercising the citizenship. When someone is a citizen and exercises it it implies working for a better community and the growth of the society. If everyone could cooperate for a common objective the world would be a better place and people would live better.

Firstly, I want to say how much I appreciate you reaching out to me - it means a lot to me that you trusted me with something so personal.

Your situation sounds very challenging, and I completely understand why you feel torn. It’s clear that you care about him, but his hoarding behavior is more than just a personal habit - it’s a serious issue that can affect both of you emotionally and mentally.

The fact that he’s not accepting professional help at this time is a warning sign. This kind of behavior often stems from deep-seated emotional issues that he can only cope with with the right support. My advice? Have an honest conversation with him. Let him know how much he means to you, but also be clear about your boundaries and how important it is for him to seek help for his well-being.

Ultimately, you need to prioritize your mental health. If he's not willing to take steps to improve, maybe it's time to step back, even if it's difficult.

I'm here for you - don't hesitate to write me again.

Take care of yourself!

Like all art forms, film is a multi-layered medium that serves multiple purposes beyond pure entertainment. Some believe that film should focus solely on escapism, but this view overlooks the power of film to reflect, critique, and shape society.

The arts, including film, have historically served as a platform for exploring political and ideological issues. Films such as Schindler’s List and 12 Years a Slave provide insight into historical injustices, promoting empathy and awareness. Similarly, films such as V for Vendetta and The Social Network explore modern social issues and encourage audiences to question the status quo.

Restricting film to entertainment risks undermining its potential to inspire thought and inspire change. Film has a unique ability to engage diverse audiences by combining storytelling with visual impact to address critical issues in an engaging way.

However, balance is key. Not every film has to be political. Lighter films can provide relaxation and enjoyment, which is just as important. Ultimately, film should be valued for its versatility, allowing creators to entertain, educate and challenge social norms, often all at the same time. By embracing this diversity, we respect the rich potential of film to delight and inspire.

The Emotional Power of ''In Front of You'' in Grey's Anatomy

The Grey's Anatomy soundtrack has long been a haven for music that evokes powerful emotions, and The Quiet Kind "In Front Of You" is a prime example of this. The song plays during one of the series' most moving moments, and it's known for its ability to blend seamlessly with the series' themes of vulnerability and resilience.

What sets "In Front Of You" apart is the combination of profound lyrics and minimalist instrumentation. "The Quiet Kind" delivers a hauntingly beautiful performance with soft acoustic elements that enhance the song's raw emotional core. The lyrics, especially the chorus "I'm standing right here in front of you," resonate deeply, embodying themes of unwavering support and hope amid life's challenges - a hallmark of the series' narrative.

The sound is equally striking, combining vulnerability and strength in a way that is both personal and universal. It perfectly complements the heartbreaking and healing scenes on Grey's Anatomy and heightens the emotional tension of the story.

However, despite the song's power, its low-key nature may feel too soft for some listeners. Outside of the context of the show, it may lack the dynamic changes that make the track appealing on repeat listens. But it's this subtlety that makes it so perfect for the series emotionally charged moments.

All in all, The Quiet Kind "In Front of You" is a powerful addition to Grey's Anatomy's musical legacy. Not only does the song enhance the show's narrative, but it's also a moving work of art in its own right. For fans who enjoy soulful soundtracks with a hint of melancholy, this track is perfect.

Finishing the New CNA Platinum 1 and the only word I can say about it is that it was a awesome chapter of my CNA journey, the semester was full of knowledges and surprises, it will definitely remain on my mind in my language learning.

The new module offers exciting, practical lessons designed to improve students English skills. The topics covered, such as daily life, travel and social interactions, are all very relevant and allow learners to practice real-world communication scenarios. Listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises are included to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.

The lessons are dynamic and interactive, making learning fun and motivating. The use of multimedia resources and group activities encourages collaboration and keeps students on task.

For improvement, I would recommend incorporating more role-playing to build confidence and providing cultural insights to broaden learners perspectives. Overall, this module combines fun with effective skill building and is an excellent step towards improving English skills.

About movies being used as vehicle to discuss politics or ideology... or both.

I see many people today saying things like "movies are suposed to be entertainment! Not political propagandas!"

well, i'm not saying that you're wrong for thinking this, but here's a fact: movies, just like any other kind of media, were, and still are being used as vehicle to discuss and talk about politics and ideologies. "The Great Dictator" made by Charles Chaplin is a good exemple of that.

But, in my point of view, it's kinda... frustating. Imagine: you're a person that is tired of working, news, tired of the world basically. So, you decide to take your kids and watch a movie to have a good time together. (very nice isn't?) but when you and your family watch it, you're bombarded with political and ideology propagandas and discussions. I know, it's very important to talk about those things (since politics is in everywhere and we need things that make us think about our lifes), but too much is not good. In the end of the day, the only way to survive this world and have "entertainment", is JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR! "I am the way and the truth and the life [...]" There's no other way except for JESUS. “Christ is the only exit from this world; all other exits-sexual rapture, political utopia, economic independence-are but blind alleys in which rot the corpses of the many who have tried them”
― Fr. Seraphim Rose.

GOD bless and save you all ☦️

Movie as a vehicle to discuss ideology and politics?

Movies, as a way of human beings to express themselves, has a great variety of forms to assume, once we can have, as well, diferent forms and experiences. Some of them are good, some, bad. But all of them happens in a context, so as important to tell the story, is to make the background. One of our worst times was during world war 2, and it's an attempt to forget what happened when you try to erase a form of expression that can talk about it. Some things should never be forgotten, and movies are some of the most efective way to mark humans memories.

Schilinder's list is considered one of the best moveis of all times, yet it is made, mostly, about the social consequences of a ultra nacionalism country we've all studied since young. More than trying to show the horrors of it, It tries to demonstrate that we, as human beings, can help each other, as the protagonist did. So in the end, a movie, more than a way to entertain, is way to learn. And to do that, sometimes it needs to talk about politics. So, saying that movies should be always intertainment and fun is lie, because life is not always fun, and there is somethings that we only learn in sadness.

How can my generation save the planet?

Saving the planet... doesn't it sound epic, just like a hero story? Yes, it does and its childsh to believe that only a generation is capable of undo the harm that has been done to the world for centuries, since the Industrial Revolution. As the harm was progressively done, so should be our actions towards the objective of healing the environment. It takes time, but even more than that, we need to change the way we think about nature. Today, most of us see it just like an endless source of material for industry, having no value itself. But nature isn't us to use until it's over, like will never end, and that's not a super green movement thing, it's a fact that if we continue to explore it that way we do, more and more disasters will happen. We, as humans, need explore the nature? Yes, but not in way that exploration, later, turns out to be a cathastrofic to us. It has it's value, as we have ours. Maybe thinking like that might "save the world", but will not be us to do that. We might start it, but we won't be here to see it.

Movies have long been a powerful form of entertainment, offering an escape from reality and providing enjoyment. However, they can also serve as a platform for discussing politics and ideology, which I believe adds depth and value to the medium. While entertainment is important, films often reflect the societal context in which they are made. By incorporating political and ideological themes, filmmakers encourage viewers to think critically about the world around them.

Movies have the power to raise awareness about social issues, challenge existing norms, and provoke thoughtful discussions.

In resume, movies are a form of art, and art has always been a vehicle for expressing ideas and questioning the status quo. Dismissing films with political or ideological messages as "just entertainment" overlooks the broader role movies play in shaping culture and sparking dialogue.

A lolt of peoplo try to classificate what is art an relative concept that are following our lives and reporting them as a way of entretaiment. You can say that art should not mixed with politics or ideology, but our world have been separed between capitalism and socialism, we live the impacts of our choice for politics everyday, most of the conflits we have are because politic power. So when we talk about humam life is impossible not to talk about the politic our some ideology.

Movies are a great way to give visibiliy to impotant topics for the population, of course it can be used to manipulate peoplo, but it can also be used to make a refletcion for some problem, so we can find ways to deal with or solve it.

Secondly, peoplo more conscious about the problems of our society would evitaded attacks motivaded by angry and especialy, dissavenges with diferent ideologys , that are becoming more ofthen nowdays. With peoplo refleting and knowing that are otther point of view of the same thing and they are necessary wrong our right.

So I belive that discuss politics and ideology are important to inform peoplo that our wold is not black and white, there are otthers oppinios that are valid, and maybe togeter we can find solucions for our problems.
