  2. When it was explained that because New York has been hit so hard with the virus, the government told neighboring states to not travel to other states in order to help prevent the spread.
Something that surprised me was that the US now has the most cases of the virus.  This surprised me because I initially thought that Italy still had the most cases.
When it was explained that one of the CNN heroes saved bars of soap from hotels to give to people who do not have access to soap around the world, it reminded me of how during preparation for wars, people would save different materials to help the war effort (like the soap effort against the virus today.)
