         <description><![CDATA[<div>At the beginning of the week, students are asked to write a short paragraph opinion piece. Then as the week goes on, they will draw and label a map, make a list, and then write a short response opinion piece, justifying their opinion. On day 5, students are asked to write a paper which incorporates some of the skills they practiced in days 1-4, including: writing about similarities and differences, stating their opinion, and justifying their opinion. </div>]]></description>

As the week progresses they are asked to write dialogue from a characters perspective, a journal entry, and act as a journalist (create an interview). <br><br>The anchor chart focusses on the key events that happen throughout the story.</div>]]></description>
