A big figure who continues to succeed in life is Michael Jordan. Jordan grew up in a very poor and underdeveloped environment in Brooklyn, NY. He wanted to find a way out of the harsh life through his love for basketball. Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team in his teen years and fought through diverse challenges and setbacks. This never stopped Jordan tough, he ended up going to college and winning a State Championship for the Univerisity of North Carolina. He then was drafted into the NBA and later signed a multi-million dollar deal with Nike to start producing Jordan sneakers. This would later become one of the most booming shoe and athletic company collaborations known today.
