         <description><![CDATA[<div>  <br>2019- milked 80 heifers, with a beef enterprise still on the farm.<br><br>2020-  100 cows calving in the spring with plans of growing to a herd on 120 in the early in 2020.<br><br>Farm- Tipperary, dry fertile land, main grazing block, with three out blocks for beef, heifer rearing, silage and equine.<br><br>KPI (2019) - SR/ha, Milking Platform 2.66 LU, Whole Farm 2 LU<br>Feed Budget (tonnes) Grass 3.2, Silage 1.5, Concentrates 775kg. <br><br>Slurry, hedge cutting, fertilizer application, silage mowing is done on the farm. Only machine work contracted is baling of silage. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>  Year 1- map the farm, soil test, reseeding plan, enter a discussion group, sign up with Pasture Base, focus on good graze outs.<br><br></div><div><br>Year  2- start measuring grass, record data, use a Spring rotational plan and a 60:40 plan.<br><br>Year 3- routine/weekly measuring, reseeding, continue discussion group interaction, put down planning to improve cubicle shed, improve the opportunity for Zero-grazing (Feed space 70cm cow).<br><br>Year 4- use data collected to view SR, expansion of herd,  review potential for leasing ground or zero-grazing to improve the productivity of the out blacks.<br><br>Year 5- review paddock size, look at milk yield and grass consumption, continue measuring and grass budgeting, keep up interaction with the discussion group (+2-3c L).</div>]]></description>
