Feed Budget (tonnes) Grass 3.2, Silage 1.5, Concentrates 775kg. 

Slurry, hedge cutting, fertilizer application, silage mowing is done on the farm. Year  2- start measuring grass, record data, use a Spring rotational plan and a 60:40 plan.

Year 3- routine/weekly measuring, reseeding, continue discussion group interaction, put down planning to improve cubicle shed, improve the opportunity for Zero-grazing (Feed space 70cm cow).

Year 4- use data collected to view SR, expansion of herd,  review potential for leasing ground or zero-grazing to improve the productivity of the out blacks.

Year 5- review paddock size, look at milk yield and grass consumption, continue measuring and grass budgeting, keep up interaction with the discussion group (+2-3c L).
