One of them was Rathiya, who comes from Ipoh in Perak. She's a 13-year-old student who seems quite nice and friendly. Besides, as an extroverted person, she really enjoys having conversations and collaborating with others. Moreover, she used to be a member of the Robotics Society which involved the application of engineering and designing skills.

During her free time, she would stroll around the back of her house while enjoying the beautiful, picturesque and absolutely breathtaking scenery!  Rathiya would also play the guitar as a method of releasing stress and tension. Listening to the acoustic melodies brings joy, calmness and relaxation to her.

Besides that, one of her greatest achievements was getting an award for winning a national mathematics competition! Moreover, she finds the unique flavour of Italian pasta and the spiced Indian Biryani absolutely amazing. Korean, Western and Chinese cuisines are undeniably delicious to her as well.

Furthermore, as a person who hopes to contribute to society by saving lives, she aspires to become a physician one day. Her sister has also improved the lives of countless people by giving them proper medical assistance. She is in fact, inspired and highly motivated by her sister to work hard in order to reach her goal.

I'm 13 years old and I come from Sungai Petani in Kedah. Previously, I've studied in Sekolah Menengah Sin Min. I'm totally excited and honoured to join Sekolah Menengah Sains Pendang because personally, it is an entirely new experience for me and very different from my previous school. I'm eager to find out about the method of teaching here since it is relatively interesting. I hope that I can accomplish something in this school and most importantly, get to enjoy the process of learning!

As a matter of fact, English is my favourite subject! Not only do I actively participate in some English competitions, but I also find writing my own essays as well as designing articles absolutely entertaining. In fact, I almost never get tired of doing it! Furthermore, I'm looking forward to studying other subjects as well.

Moreover, I’d like to share another interest of mine, which is art and design. I will grab a piece of paper, bring a black pen with me and sketch abstract, imaginary objects! Nonetheless, minute details such as minuscule dots requires serious perseverance and tireless effort to complete. That’s the reason it takes forever when I sketch.

Besides that, I really enjoy Thai cuisine. Savouring the aroma of the Tom Yum Goong will definitely be an unprecedented experience for you. The aroma of chillies and the fragrant smell of lemongrass will literally blow your mind away! In addition, indulging in Italian cuisine is phenomenal. For instance, Aglio e Olio is a type of pasta with sautéed, minced garlic in olive oil combined with red chilli flakes and then finally mixed with spaghetti.

Well, that's pretty much it. "The video shows us the drastic impacts humanity has on our planet. It tells us how every day, we are taking away nature and replacing it with buildings and structures for no reason other than greed. It demonstrates the magnitude of the situation and how we are making it worse.

However, I have faith in humanity. I believe we can make a change for the better. We must restore nature, plant back trees, stop more greenhouse gases from being released into the atmosphere and most importantly, save our beloved home, Mother Earth.”

I have also posted a review of a short film shared by my moral teacher. The environmental short film points out how humans are destroying nature too.

In fact, the song I'm sharing is related to climate change and the destruction of nature! Here it is! It's titled "Different World", composed by Alan Walker and it features Sofia Carson, K-391 & CORSAK. The song was released in late 2018 as an effort to raises awareness about environmental issues and express the damage humans have done to nature.

Watching the lyric video makes you feel sad and regretful because of what humanity has done to nature. The music combined with the lyric video really touches me!

This lyric video prompts you to think about what you must do for the environment, for planet Earth as well as for the sake of humanity and what we owe to nature.
