The Soviet Union invaded Eastern Poland, sealing the defeat of Poland which resulted in surrender, and dividing the country for the German-Soviet Non-Aggression Act.<br><br>Significance: Great Britain and France declare war on Nazi Germany. Afterwards the French government surrendered.<br><br>Significance: The capture of France which was the largest military power to be under occupation of the Western Front of World War 2. The Capture of others such as Luxembourg, Netherlands, Belgium. Germany won.</div>]]></description>

After 8 months of the bombing on London, They decided to do an nighttime air raid on Berlin. In response operation Sea Lion was announced. However Britain was extremely defensive and won the battle.<br><br>Significance: Britain winning in the end, and showed the country's resilience and courage and to remain free from Nazi Occupation.</div>]]></description>

It was a way to prevent the United States from interfering with their planned military actions.<br><br>Significance: The attack caused the US to enter World War 2 and declare war on Japan.
