This section takes place after Raphael is released from the police station. He runs away and is overjoyed. It's raining as he runs through the streets as he slowly describes to the reader how he ended up there. He then talks to a statue of a soldier and continues to describe his current situation before explaining it took him 3 hours to run home. He then describes Jose Angelico and his backstory of Robbing the Vice President for six million dollars as well as Gabriel Olondriz. He then relates this to himself by describing himself trying to imagine all the money. He finishes by saying he has to deliver the letter to Gabriel Olondriz in Colva Prision.
