         <description><![CDATA[<p>I have started to use Edmodo for each of my classes.  I gave one edmodo quiz and learned the lesson of making sure to have a Plan B because Edmodo was down.  I have found edmodo to be a great collaborative online environment for kids.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We could use BYOD for some of the websites that we normally use such as Music Racer, Music Tech Teacher and Music Theory.  Students can also use their devices for SmartMusic and can log into their Charms accounts now that they have released free mobile device apps. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I use padlet mainly as a resource for kids to document what they have seen from a video tutorial as we prepare to do a "flipped class" lesson.  This year I have started using some of the Edmodo math snapshots while my students are doing math stations.  I have been pleased with the early results.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>during station work I could use a classroom laptop to present the students with a task (recipes, shopping list, etc.) and ask each group to make sure they don't repeat any information from a previous group. This would allow the first few groups to do the activity quite easily and make the subsequent groups think more critically.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I like to use padlet for students helping other students.  Many times I will have them reply to a question that I have posted and they will use post a video tutorial or some other thing that helped them solve a problem.  This, in turn, helps the other students see other ways that people have learned the same material.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I currently have used mostly BYOD to do research in my classroom.  I have also enjoyed using REMIND to let parents and students know of upcoming tests/projects/supplies needed.  I haven't thought of a way to incorporate padlet yet, but am excited to use it....maybe as a discussion forum for debatable topics like GMOs.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I used Padlet with one of my Ceramics classes.  They used it to brainstorm world cultures.  They put up pottery examples from various cultures and typed 3 characteristics they observed when researching the artwork.  This gave them an opportunity to get a quick peek at many cultures and to learn from one another.  They chose a culture to use as inspiration for their coil pottery assignment.  I would like to have them post their own artwork when finished along with a photo.    </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Katie Thomas and I used padlet in the evidence based practice training to provide an online resource for data collection tools. We found it very easy to use. I also use google surveys to collect data on my students. The instructional assistants I work with use it daily to track data on several students and I've requested the support of a few gen ed staff members for a couple of my higher needs students. I would definitely like to explore new ways to use tech to enhance my students' learning. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I currently use google docs which I have found to be very user friendly and accessible for all.  I like the  on-line lap books which I'd like to try for our China unit.  I've used socrative and I'd like to try padlet.  BYOD we must use but hopefully someday the students will have tablets which will alleviate the need for BYOD... :)</p>]]></description>
