The leadership at this school references ROAR values at faculty meetings, parent meetings and throughout the community. Students are able to spend their bucks at the ROAR Store at the end of each week. Leaders can collect data including the number of buck awarded, which students are receiving bucks, which teachers are awarding them and indentify trends. Its about whether students learned it," (Bambrick-Santoyo, page 28).  We can teach students what respect, responsibility, organization and accountability is, but if they cannot implement this principles into their everyday lives it does not matter.  The PBIS approach to discipline allows students toidentify boundaries and responsible behavior by problem solving issues before they arise. They learn that they are 100% in control of their behavior.
