When I went to the FilBo, I buy the books of the strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and also the one of Sherlock Holmes where there are three little stories of him, these interested me because they are mysteries and it is a theme that I like a lot when I read. However, I have to say that it was very difficult to find books in English, despite the amount of books that could be seen.

MY FAVORITE ENGLISH BOOK IN THE FILBO

From my point of view, my favorite english book in the FILBO from this year, was " Malala, My story of standing up for girls rights ".
And the reason for that I think that, this book it's important is because, Malala (a girl who was born in Pakistán) was an important activist for the girls education, something that to the goberment of Pakistán around of 2012 formed by a group of extremist called talibanes, doesn't like.
The womens, in that kind of authoritarian goberments can't have any human rights, and it's impossible that they, could get a trate dignified in her life.
For defend that cause, Malala, (who won the nobel prize when she was just 17 years old) had many attempts for kill her, by talibanes.
In our time, its important that we could be atentive to the situation of the all countries and what we can do, for guarantee the democracy to people.
And off course build a better world for all womens without violence.

My favorite english book in the filbo

When I went to the FILBO, I saw this book "the witcher". I was interested in this book because since ir tells the geral de Rvia's and Princess Ciris life who are bound together by fate. A witcher who was in charge of curing the daugther of de follest king who had a curse tah made her vecome a ferocious monster.
However I have to soy that it was so difficult find English books, because there was a lot of variety. But I saw the serie on Netflix and I liked.

Hi, my name is Shelcy and this is book that I choose in Filbo, I didn't found this book in physical because this book was sold out, so I took the photo like you can see.
Why is this book interesting or important for you?
This book is interesting for me because I love stories about friends and love jeje.
This story is sad in particular because it's about two friends however, one friend going to be sick and of course he going to dead later, while the other friend will hurts for this dead. This story have an importan reflection about the live and of course about friends.

Memory, War and Trauma is a very interesting book for me, because it provides a great insight into the implication of war in people's lives and the social impact from an individual perspective and the social and cultural factors that impact on the result of each person's experience. Also, it is a topic that is talked about a lot, it has become an absurd normality and that is lived daily in some places more strongly than in others, but it is not analyzed to really solve social conflicts and it make reparation to victims as should be. The other hand is a way of knowing our harsh history and questioning if we feed or not the war from our realities.
