Jogi is our Guruji's name, which also means Yogi, In India Many religious GURUJI's wear two-piece unstitched cloth, one to cover the lower body and the other to cover the upper body where size does not matter at all which you can see in my above pictures.

Also, I have shown some different types of sari which are draped garments that can be worn by any size of body type and also can be upcycled into garments once enough times worn by a person also quilts are made in India, especially In Indian villages. or they use it for cleaning clothes as an end-use. In India when babies are born, the grandmothers make small quilts, garments, and nappies as after a lot of use they become very soft.

Empowerment of women always boosts confidence in them by learning a skill, through which, they can earn money and support their family and children's education. It is vocational training to enhance their skills and confidence.

This initiative gave them so much confidence that some of them started with their labels and small-scale boutiques.

1.     We started with a drawing exercise by watching surrounding plants and flowers to create motifs on their own.

2.     We gave them input on how to make repeats using motifs in the design.

3.     We taught them how to make khakha (made out of butter paper, on lines of drawing making perforations by needle) to print those motifs onto fabrics.

4.     We trained them in different types of embroidery stitches.

5.     We educated them on which stitch can be used in the type of motif size or for the desired look.

6.     At the end of the training, they created different products which u can see in the pictures.

This is detrimental to the environment as it contributes to pollution and global warming.
