The tutorials could be made better by providing more details/demonstration on how to present.

Thank you, Erin for your support! I was able to learn about Vocaroo. I think this App is great for the Dual/Immersion students to practice speaking in the target language. I know the JH students have used it in the past. I am excited to share with elementary teachers in the fall.

Dawn and I chose to try Google Hangout. We found it easy to use. One thing that could be challenging is that people tend to talk over each other. That would never happen with Dawn and I...hahah. 1. The video that walked me through the setup may be outdated? It didn't really line up with what I was seeing on my screen. 
2. I found it very easy to just go to the meet.google.com website and just click Start A New Meeting. 
3. I then just emailed the link info to Rosie who was able to click on the link and join. Super easy!

I look forward to using this with my new teachers next year!

I think Google Drawings has a lot to offer from creating your own backgrounds and images to use in other apps or to use as an activity on its own. It will be interesting to see these used in the classroom. I think they could be done during lessons or independent activities / workstations.
Tutorial and PD format:
Would you consider creating a part 2 or 3 of the tutorial ... assigning google drawings and/or using with other apps? Overall, the app tutorial site is a great idea - it can help focus attention (instead of sending you down a googling or YouTube rabbit hole) as well as provide coaching support and salary lane credit. Thank you for making it available and letting us be part of it!]]> 2018-05-28 22:02:16 UTC https://padlet.com/sd54/4giq0su5mz8c/wish/264105566 Flipgrid nancyhellstrom https://padlet.com/sd54/4giq0su5mz8c/wish/264226884  Overall, I thought that the Flipgrid tutorial was very easy to follow and use.  It was easy to set up an account, create a question and share it, and for the teacher to respond.   As I explored more of the Flipgrid website while creating my question, I noticed that there were additional sections/options to explore and was thinking that it may be helpful to add information about these to the tutorial.
 
Thank you for providing the opportunity to learn about padlet through our participation as well as to explore so many apps! I am excited to share what I have learned about Flipgrid with EL, Dual/Immersion teachers this fall as a way for students to build their confidence in speaking in an interactive, engaging way.
