Luna new year is the most popular  with vietnamese people . It begin fromthe frist day of lunar year. After Tet begins , we must decorate the house and make  chung cake or buy it . At the frist day of Tet , we go to the husband's household . The second day of  Tet  we visit the wife'family  and some close friends At the thrid day of Tet some students visit their teachers or some staffs visit their bosses and some families visit thier helpful people with their , so the circle of conections becomes larger . On the fourth day of Tet  some people go to the pagoda to

Tet in Asia is often celebrated differently than Tet in other continents. If Tet in other continents is celebrated on January 1st, Asia celebrates it on February 1st because they are calculated according to the lunar calendar, which means it will be calculated 1 month after the solar calendar .Tet in Vietnam is very interesting, they have many different customs, habits and characteristics. Usually, about 2 to 3 days before Tet, people usually clean and decorate the house. And every house must have a peach branch, a pot of kumquat tree or a yellow apricot branch to increase the atmosphere and beauty of the house. I especially enjoy going to the flower market and Tet holidays. When my family went to buy peach blossoms at the market, I was overwhelmed by the colors of thousands of flowers in this big market , it looked like a giant rainbow .After cleaning the house, people will usually arrange a tray of foods to offer to the altar, go to release goldfish on the Ong Cong Ong Tao day (January 23 of the lunar calendar), welcome guests and visit someone you like such as friends, colleagues..., after about 1 or 2 days, people will prepare clothes to visit their husband's family, usually on the 28th of Tet. On the 29th day of Tet, everyone started wrapping and boiling banh chung, I really like this moment, on Tet holidays when there is a cold wind, my cousins ​​and I gather around a pot of banh chung, just It was to warm up and just to talk and talk to each other, but at that time, I felt very happy . Then comes the most special day, the 30th Tet! When the old one officially passes, the new year begins. On the morning of the 30th New Year, people usually open the feast and receive guests. On the afternoon of the 30th, everyone makes a meal to celebrate the end of the year. And in the evening, people watch Tao Quan and watch fireworks at midnight and offer New Year's greetings. Tet is a traditional holiday of our country VN.
The seasin of Tet occurs around the biginning of february and end of january. The meaning of Tet is ending the old year and welcome the new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnam families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to comeback their homes and get together to prepare before Tet. Moreover, they will buy new clothes and clean the house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent for every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruit and flowers.
Some of tycial Tet's food such as : Sweets, coconut jam, candied fruit,lemon seed and rice cake. A special food can't absent is sticky rice cake. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday.
On Tet holiday, people have many tycial activities. Young persons take part in the traditional game such as: tug, cooking rice , watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a new year.
