Issue:

Covid- 19 affects urban development

Impacts:

Urban population health

Storyline:

· COVID-19 is having a major impact to the urban development.

· People cannot do outdoor activities in public space for a while to cut the chain of Covid-19.

· Less interaction among others.

· Value of urban space become meaningless and dull.

· The internet access is another problem for the students to continue the Online Distance Learning (ODL).

· Closer of IPTA / IPTS nationwide forces all students to stay at home and causes them to get in Online Distance Learning (ODL).

· Students feels stress and it’s difficult for them to give a good commitment between the things that need to be done at home and the assignments given by their lecturers.
· Self-motivation is an essential requirement for ODL learners.

Solutions:

· Ministry of health should make a standard operating of procedure (SOP) to cut the chain.

· Landscape architect and designer should redesign the public space to suit the new norm

· Jogging tracks or walkways need to resize

· City visioning, with a strong participatory element, should be part of this process.

Lessons:

Urban development gives people a lot of benefits and make our life easier.

Storyline : living with the virus (life is the new norm)

issue: the positive effects of living within new norms.

Storyline : After walking in the shopping mall, akim and arrian stopped at a nearby restaurant. They talked about what had happened when they were inside the mall. There is someone who does not comply with the SOP and coughs without closing his mouth. They both talked about the issue. Within minutes, husna, nurin and kimy suddenly reprimanded us and they joined us. Then they started their conversation and finally they talked about the impact and lessons about their conversation.
