I went to Denmark through a program called Rotary Youth Exchange. I left the end of July 2017 and came back July of 2018. I lived on a small Island near Germany called Lolland. Yes, I'm fluent in Danish (I get that question a lot.) I lived with 3 host families over there. It took around 4 months until I could understand danish and to write it but 6 to speak it.
