During my Anne frank session which was building inclusivity in classrooms, I learned that you should treat everyone with the same respect no matter how old or what disabilities they have because singling a person out can lead to bad behavior inside the classrooms and outside of classrooms.

When you have a child with ASD in your classroom it's important to make them feel comfortable and make the classroom a safe space instead of treating them like any other kid. It's important to meet their needs. As a future SLP I have to make sure all of my clients feel safe and respected no matter what their diagnosis or disability is.
