I think the part where they exchanged their names. They said that they both agreed that they have never heard each others name before.Which is weird as Bruno isn't a very uncommon name.Another part that stood out to me was the part where they found out that they have the same birthday and are the same age.As having the same birthday and same age is quite rare.

I like the part where Bruno and Shmuel introduce themselves. As they were having a little short conversation, they builded up this friendship and get to know each other better. Like their birthdays and how it's on the same day, why was Shmuel wearing the striped pyjamas, more about their parents, etc.

Although this is something most people will pick, the part of the chapter that stood out the most to me is when they found out that they both are the same age and have the same birthday. Since if you think about it, that isn’t common at all. Rare and I’d say it’s quite cool to have a birthday and an age twin at the same time.

In my opinion, an event in Chapter 10 that have stood out the most to me was when Bruno and Shmuel had a conversation together, talking about their liking, including their birthday. As they talk, I could see that they were both getting closer to each other, and now that Bruno has a new friend in Auschwitz, I find it interesting and wonder how the plot would thicken in the later parts of the story. Moreover, as they talk together and finds out they shares the same birthday, it was pretty fascinating to me.

The part in Chapter 10 that stood out the most to me was when Bruno and Shmuel discovered they shared the same birthdays. In my opinion, this detail was not introduced by the author as just a random fact that it was astonishing and that same birthdays were rare, but instead to highlight the point that Bruno and Shmuel were so similar and yet so different at the same time. (Later on in the story, Shmuel also mentioned that Bruno seemed like a fatter version of him after his hair was shaved.) In reality, however, Bruno was living a life of privilege without oppression, and Shmuel and his family were held captive in a concentration camp facing racism and the clear prospect of eventual death. Additionally, it was interesting to see how the two boys slowly developed their connection as they talked about themselves.

I think the most interesting/intruiging part was when Bruno unknowingly spreads German propaganda to Shmuel, saying that the Germans were the best and they were good soldiers. Bruno doesn't actually know what he is saying, instead he been brainwashed by his surroundings.

The part that stood out to me the most in Chapter 10 was probably the time when Shmuel and Bruno were talking to each other about themselves. It turns out they shared the same birthdays, likings and they are both the same age. Even though they have all these similarities, they are really different at the same time. Bruno is living a luxurious life and is treated differently, he has a lot of advantages since he is German. As for Shmuel, he is treated unfairly because he is a jew. While Bruno is eating dinner, during this time shmuel may be getting tortured but he doesn't think about since Buno is very clueless even after seeing shmuel's condition worsen everyday. Shmuel is more mature whilst Bruno is immature and naive.

The part that i believe stood out most in chapter 10 is the how Bruno described Shmuel because this can tell us how the children looked and dressed when they lived in Aushwitz. In Bruno's word Shmuel looked "Unusual" mostly because he has never seen someone like him because he was a jew. In Bruno's perspective "His skin was the colour of grey, but not quite like any grey Bruno had ever seen before" this shows us how the jews looked that the skin was grey,He was also small as it was said "The boy was smaller than Bruno" so he was small for a young boy.
