Different types of mentoring:

  • Local guides - show mentee how things work
  • Educational companions - teachers of teaching, keep their eye on long-term goals of mentee’s learning
  • Agents of change - create collaborative school environment where mentee can feel safe and supported across the school

I applied to be a teacher and then in the beginning of September I received a phone call form the educational authority of my region that I had to be present in my school the next morning. So on the D-day I went to the school and I met the headmaster and some colleagues. I got my timetable, and in the following morning I was in front of my classes teaching !
