         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tenochtitlan was built on an island on Lake Texcoco, with three causeways connecting Tenochtitlan to the mainland. The temples and government buildings were located in around the middle, houses were located in the outer parts, and they placed floating garden beds on the lake around the city. They made these floating gardens by placing a raft in the water and placing vegetation on top of the raft. They also added mud to make it more secure.</div>]]></description>
