I prefer to buy clothes/shoes in store as I can check size/fabric etc. I only buy online if it’s free to return or I know the sizes/quality of the brand. For larger household stuff I check online for the product I want to buy, look at reviews, view it In a store then find the cheapest price and order online. For some items e.g books, I mostly buy online as it’s often cheaper. For toiletries cosmetics I will repeat purchase products online but like to see/smell products first and often you can’t return them if they have been used/opened. If I was making a large purchase for the house I would also shop online to look for the product with the best price and the best reviews.
