Prepare 5-10 questions to interview your guest about the topic that you have chosen. It helps if you both feel prepared!
Include song/sound interludes. This normally works best at the beginning & end.
Always and I mean ALWAYS check your microphone to make sure it is working. This means record a sample one for 5-10 seconds, to check that it is working. Sadly, every single year, at least one person turns one in that the microphone didn't capture. :(
Prepare a podcast script (I am linking the template below).
The time frame should be 12-20 minutes.
