I think a lot of the issue with my group's IP is motivation. We get so easily distracted by other obligations and entertainment that we don't want to dedicate much time to our project. We also tend to move slowly, doing very little at a time. We wanted to improve the environment, to save what beauty remains in our planet. Hopefully our community  can benefit, our government and businesseses, and of course, our ecosystems. We also hope it will encourage and promote sustainability. We hope to also give consumers a better awareness of their ecological footprint and consumption habits, and allow them to feel good even with plastic use. We hope to encourage businesses to give more thought to the resources they use, and that governments will find the (hoped for) success of this bioplastic creation compelling enough to implement more laws pertaining to the environmental protection. Specifically, our IP aims to address the lack of environmental awareness of consumers. By producing biodegradable plastics and labeling them as such, consumers are more likely to recognize the impacts their habits might have had if the plastic were traditionally made.
