         <description><![CDATA[<div>Our school has a policy that homework can't be part of a student's grade. My colleague "grades" homework by giving privileges to students that complete it (notes on tests, for example). This creates inequity in her classroom, as the students that work full time (or have other responsibilities) don't have the same opportunity as other students.</div>]]></description>

Duties include a week long lunch duty where teachers have to monitor the lunch room for a week, parking lot duty (stand outside) hall way duty, visual prep duty, dismissal duty. The worst part is they are not understanding when teachers miss their assign duty. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I feel that my school does school outreach, mailing, phone calls and etc. made by operations team.  The issue  is that we don't have parents involved in the school community. But its inequitable that teachers feel that parents do not care. There are many reasons why families may not be able to make it. I feel that teachers feel that going the extra mile by making a simple phone call is an issue. But for me its inequitable to believe that a parent does not care and therefore he/she can just rely on the report card that will say that he is doing poorly or failed. </div>]]></description>
