I believe that Nuclear power is an accurate energy source and reliable. It definitely has some cons that are a concern but we are constantly evolving and learning. Pros that come with Nuclear power, is that they only need a tiny amount of fuel to generate, they also release much less carbon fuel emissions. There is always going to be cons to everything, like how scientists are trying to make a fusion reactor produce energy but there are challenges due to figuring out how to control the reaction in a contained space. These struggles and challenges will eventually be overcome and we will keep figuring out how to produce power more efficiently even though its very efficient. But nuclear power already is proven to be better than other power sources like wind and solar because it is always producing power.

Although there are cons in nuclear energy. Nuclear energy is needed all around the world and nuclear power is an accurate energy source, its cons are severe like... cost a lot to make a nuclear plant and causes a little bit of radiation. The pros of a nuclear plant are much more superficial, like is cheap, it powers whole cities and is more reliable than wind and solar energy.

Although there are many pros of nuclear power plants such as.Low carbon, cheap to run, efficient power source, local job creation, pollution from it is rather low, it creates very inexpensive energy, it does not admit carbon dioxide, and low greenhouse gas emission Positive economic impact. But there are also many cons including. Nuclear waste, expensive to build, nuclear wars, nuclear accidents, mining of uranium can be dangerous, high cost to get rid of radioactive waste, construction of it usually takes many years, nuclear energy is not entirely renewable, transportation of radioactive materials is risky, high long-term cost, accidents tho rare are devastating, and the waste last 200-500 thousand years. Along with these many cons a huge one and very dangerous one is nuclear power plants are a big target for terrorist. An attack could cause major explosions, putting population centers at risk, as well as ejecting dangerous radioactive material into the atmosphere and surrounding region. So personally i think the cons outweigh the pros, so i do not support.

Nuclear power can be really expensive and dangerous. After the events of Chernobyl, increasing the number of nuclear power plants is a real risk to the world. Nuclear power also has a negative impact on the in environment. The process of mining of materials causes erosion, pollutes sources of water, and leaves behind radioactive particles. Even though there are some pros of having nuclear energy, I don't think I don't think I support it because of these reasons.

Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant

Although there are many pros and cons to nuclear energy, I feel like there are more cons than pros. The idea of having nuclear energy can do so much good for the world and make it a better place but it concerns me that if a nuclear waste were to happen, it could kill so many people and that is not worth having them. Also it is not a renewable resource so it can not be depended on and that will soon be a problem especially if we have a nuclear waste accident because all of that nuclear product will go to waste. Nuclear power plants also take 20-30 year to build so if there were an emergency, we couldn't build one in fast enough time. The cons over power the pros and with that conclusion, I do not support nuclear power plants.

There are many pros and con for Nuclear power, but I believe that the negative out ways the positives. I don't support nuclear power because Nuclear fluid cant be be taken to landfills, it takes 100s of years to decompose and if not handled with care it can become harmful to the environment. Also because it's not a renewable fuel source, Uranium is limited and can risk of running out which means it's not a source of energy we can rely on for a long period of time.Aside from the Cons some Pros are that nuclear power doesn't rely on fossil fuels, so nuclear power isn't affected by unpredictability of oil and gas cost. Overall I think that Nuclear power should be our main source of power, and that we should find other sources of power.

Some cons include it requires a lot of radioactive waste, it effects the environment and causes a lot of accidents. I don't support Nuclear Power because it creates radioactive waste that remains for tens and hundreds of years. It also uses a lot of energy from the earth and causes more harm than good. Due to the radiation, workers in the Nuclear industry are more exposed to higher levels of radiation which can lead to cancer. Nuclear powder does more harm to the earth than good, and won't benefit us in the long run.

Nuclear power plants have both advantages and disadvantages. Nuclear power can produce lots of energy cheaply, but building a nuclear power plant is very expensive. As good as they are for the environment they also can have catastrophic effects on the environment around the power plant. The nuclear waste that is created by the plant is buried deep underground and could go into meltdown at any second, not even mentioning the disasters that nuclear energy has caused that led to entire cities being abandoned. In short, despites its risks there are still reasons people use nuclear power, personally I believe that there are better ways to get your energy.

Like everything nuclear power has both its disadvantages and advantages. Nuclear power plants don't rely on fossil-fuels which means carbon dioxide is not produced, and pollution is not made. Along with that they rely on a much cleaner way of producing electricity, but unfortunately nuclear power more disadvantages. Some disadvantages that can be found with nuclear power plants are, they take up very large amounts of energy, and they produce radioactive waste. Radioactivity can cause serious harm to people so when there isn't a very efficient way to discard radioactive wastes people's lives can be at risk. Overall, this is why I don't really support nuclear power plants.

Nuclear power is a hotly debated energy source. On one hand, it creates a lot of energy quickly, is not intermittent (unlike wind power), and its cheap to run. On the other hand, it creates a concerning amount of greenhouse gases, could create a catastrophic meltdown, is not a renewable energy source, and the plant required to produce it is expensive to build. In my opinion, Nuclear Power dose far more harm than good. Our environment is more important than capitalistic greed. I think a better solution would be a combination of solar, wind, and hydropower.

They are very expensive to build and also take so much time and space. It is also very polluting to the environment and air and humans do not need to breathe that in. Even if we do power plants, that is not gonna give us energy and power for forever, eventually we will run out. There are also many other ways to produce energy and power like solar power.

If you do not handle nuclear energy the right way it can cause pollution, geographic changes, and can even risk the lives of the people working with this energy. Although as technology is getting more advanced they are able to find safer ways to handle this energy. There are also many more ways to find energy besides fossil fuels and nuclear power plants. For example solar energy, water turbines, etc. I think nuclear energy is ok as long as it is handled safely and responsibly.

The cons are that there can be many sever accidents possible, produces radioactive waste, and has several more negative impacts on the environment. The pros are that it has a high energy output, low greenhouse gas emission, and produces a substantial amount of energy. I think that when you look at the cons, it is better to not support nuclear power. There are far more severe reasons to not support it, and it would be better for the environment if we looked to using alternate forms of energy. I think we could definitely find a better way to supply energy to people that is sufficient.

I think Nuclear Energy plants are very good. They provide us with much more energy and release much less carbon dioxide than fossil fuels. Nuclear energy is a reliable source of energy, it gives us a big output for a small input. This is creating new jobs in Nuclear plants due to this type of energy production expanding. As well as no fossil fuel are used to make nuclear energy; this makes the energy more eco-friendly. There are many major risks nuclear energy brings to us. The waste produced during Fission nuclear energy is very radioactive, and dangerous. This is the same with Fusion, but we don't see that as it is more experimental. A spill or accident of this waste would cause devastating effects. It can leave an area uninhabitable for hundreds if not thousands of year. In example Chernobyl, the radiation accident still is affecting the city today. The radiation has been left in the soil affecting the wildlife and vegetation greatly. I believe that Nuclear energy is a good form of energy when it is done safely, and there are not many risk to having an accident. The picture below is of an accident.

Fossil fuels produce large quantities of carbon dioxide when burned. Carbon emissions trap heat in the atmosphere and lead to climate change. While nuclear energy is that it produces high amounts of electricity without damaging the environment and atmosphere.

Honestly nuclear power plants can be really good but if anything goes bad it can contaminate everything in the area. Even though yes its more reliable then fossil fuels or coal because we can get the energy and use it quickly and reliably. In the case of Trunoble, it is the worse nuclear explosion that has ever happened. One of the reactors had exploded and its been almost 40 years and its still completely toxic and filled with radiation. When the people in the town left, they said they'd be back in 3 days so the town looks like its been frozen in time. If this happened today with nuclear power plants we know how to handle a nuclear explosion. But honestly the chance of this happening again far outweighs the pros.

Nuclear Power Plants are safe and are reliable if you make sure that everything goes good and that nothing bad happens around the plant. Nuclear power is very efficient and its also very very cheap compared to the energy output of the Nuclear Plant. The Nuclear plant also does not rely on Fossil Fuels which is good for the atmosphere because the plants do not sent as much pollution to the atmosphere as oil and coal plants. However Nuclear plants can blow up and they have a history of accidents like chernobyl and fukushima, the plants cost a lot of money to build because there's a lot to build. Also if the reactor explodes or something else happens that place and the places that are surrounding it will not be able to be used for a very very very long time for things to clean up and be useable again. overall i think that nuclear energy should be used as long as nothing goes wrong because all the bad stuff happening like the melt downs and exploding happen cause of something that happened within the system so if you keep everything good and safe the pros outweigh the cons.

The advantages that a nuclear power has is that nuclear power generates electricity without causing pollution. Nuclear power has also helped with the high demand of electricity around the world and it is very reliable and inexpensive to operate. Although nuclear power has helped us for generating electricity, it also has given us a disadvantage. Some examples might be that building a nuclear power plant itself is very expensive. Given the fact that nuclear power plants are inexpensive to operate, they are however very expensive to build. Another disadvantage could be that accidents can happen in the plant and it can produce a lot of nuclear waste. This harms the environment, making the plant a security threat. Personally, I don't support the use of nuclear power plants because it causes nuclear waste and can hurt us all in all. Overall, nuclear power plants are reliable for electricity, but they do lead to risks that may harm the world.

Yes it may produce more energy, put out less pollutants into the air,and run on renewable energy but it's not worth it if there are threats that'll endanger our lives and the environment if the nuclear plant has a meltdown. What can occur which has happened more than one hundred times already,is cause long term sickness in individuals in contact with the radiation if not killed immediately in the explosion, make many uproot themselves in an evacuation and it costing billions to repair damages. It's too risky and fatal of a method. Unless there is some safer way that's designed, then nuclear should be the best option compared to the rest and their flaws as well.

Nuclear power has pros and cons. I think there is more cons than pros. Some pros are it releases less gas than coal and other electric generating plants. Another pro is that nuclear energy does not rely on Fossil Fuels. Some cons are it causes accidents, limited fuel supply and it produces Radioactive Waste.

Nuclear power is an energy source that is cheap and reliable. Like fossil fuels, it too, has its drawbacks such as the waste it creates and has a catastrophic impact when it fails to be safe. In all I believe that companies and governments should be more cautious with such power before the world converts to this cleaner source of energy.

I support nuclear power because it is stable and is cheaper to run than other power scources. It also does not produce greenhouse gasses such as methane or CO2. There are however some cons to nuclear power as well. If something unexpected were to happen it could cause an explosion that would have negative effects on the people and land around it.
